TOP PHOTO:
POBMS 8th-grader Selin Baytan and 7th-graders Samantha Rosenberg and Katherine Wang participated in the French Poetry Competition sponsored by the Nassau Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French. They each recited a French poem from memory. They were judged on pronunciation and ability to portray the meaning of the poem. These dedicated French students all worked hard and were well prepared. And we had some winners... Samantha Rosenberg received a first honorable mention in Level 1A and Selin Baytan won first place in Level 1B! Félicitations!!
