November 1st is La Toussaint, when All Saint's Day is celebrated in France. On this day, French families typically visit a cemetery to pay their respects to family members who have passed away. This year, seventh and eighth grade students of French participated in this tradition with a project in which they honored the lives of famous French personalities. Each student made a tombstone poster that contained information about a deceased famous French person. The tombstone posters were organized to form a French cemetery in the hallway where students participated in a scavenger hunt.
This activity coincided with the first day of National French Week (November 2nd-6th).
