Mandatory Compliance Training
The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District utilizes the Global Compliance Network (GCN) to satisfy state and federal regulations that requires all district employees to complete annual mandatory compliance training. The purpose of this training is to provide employees with information to help promote a safe and healthy working environment.
Specifically, compliance training will be provided in the following areas:
COVID-19: Workplace Guidelines
COVID-19: How to wear a mask
COVID-19: Wear a face covering (CDC)
COVID-19: Proper Handwashing (CDC)
Allergies - NY
Blood-Bourne Pathogens
Hazardous Communications
Child Abuse - NY
School Safety - NY
DASA/Code of Conduct - NY
Sexual Harassment NY - State Mandated
The District may also require employees to complete Diabetes Awareness training if the information is relevant to their work responsibilities.
All training will be provided to employees through a web-based service supplied by the Global Compliance Network (GCN). GCN provides comprehensive training tutorials accessible from any computer with internet access. The time needed to complete each online tutorial varies from 2 to 29-minutes per module for a total of approximately 160-minutes. Employees may choose to complete all eleven 11) modules in one session or during separate sessions.
All staff must complete the required training by end of day Thursday, September 3, 2020.
