Software (programs/web-based applications) used in the District, both free and subscription-based, are vetted for compliance with New York State Education Law-2d.  The software inventory link below will be updated throughout the year.  In addition, where appropriate, we have included supplemental information that further explains the protection of student and staff data.

 

The Plainview-Old Bethpage CSD maintains an inventory of all software and services utilized within the district that collect, store or process student information. In order to make this information as easily accessible as possible to our community and comply with requirements outlined in law and regulation, we have posted our inventory and supplemental information related to the contracts for those products and services on our website. We will update the inventory periodically to reflect any changes in product or service usage.

Google Chrome extensions are typically created by 3rd party vendors. The majority of extensions are not part of the Google for Education Suite. Google Chrome extensions are from 3rd party vendors and do not fall under our data privacy agreement with Google.
