-Reminder:  All 8th graders involved in the HS Peer Mentor Program, please report to Z Space at the beginning of Period 9.

-Attention POBMS:  The Leo Club is having a food drive until April 15th.  Please donate any non-perishable food and leave it in the donation barrel near the Main Office.  All food will be donated to people in need here on Long Island.

-Any girl interested in playing LaCrosse this year should attend our meeting Wednesday, March 20th at 3PM in the gym.  All information will be discussed including all the forms you will need.

-All 7th and 8th grade students interested in joining the track team, meet in the gym, Wednesday, 3/20/19.

-A Spring Season Informational Meeting for all Spring Sports will be held at 3 PM in the gym on Wednesday, March 20th.

-Attention All Staff and Students:  The countdown to St. Baldrick's Day has begun.  In the past 6 years, our school district has raised close to $200,000 for childhood cancer research.  Last year, team POBMS raised close to $7,00 and came in first place.  This year we will be raffling off two tickets for the May 1, 2019 performance of Hamilton.  The raffle is set up as an online St. Baldrick's fundraiser so you can enter by making a $10.00 donation directly to TEAM POBMS.  You can enter as many times as you like.  This is a great opportunity to take a chance at tickets to see this old out show, while supporting an amazing cause.  As always, the MAP Group which raises the most money this year will win a pizza party after school, or a bagel breakfast during MAP.  Your MAP leaders will be visiting to talk to you about this very important event after the winter break.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. O'Sullivan in Room 316.

-8th Grade Girls Basketball game is cancelled today.  There will be practice.

-Congratulations to the Girls 8th Grade Basketball team who had a come from behind victory and beat Seaford yesterday by a score of 33-30.  It was the Hawk's first victory of the year.
