Starting on Monday, October 5th, during the 7th and 8th grade MAP/Remedial period (1:25PM-2:00PM), we will be providing our 7th and 8th students bags that contain lunch for them to have for the next day when they are on remote learning. This service comes out of the No Cost Lunch (NCL) Program from the USDA that is providing free meals for all school aged children through December 31, 2020 (please see the following link for more information: https://www.fns.usda.gov/news-item/usda-035520).
The procedure for distributing our Brain Food Bags (BFB) (Mon.-Thurs.) will be as follows:
An insulated bag containing the BFB will be delivered to your door during the MAP/Remedial period.
During the last five minutes of the period, you are to distribute a bag to each of the students. (Students are not obligated to take one.)
Place the insulated bag, with any extra BFB, outside of your classroom door at the end of the period.
Students are not to open the bag while in school or start to eat the contents of it.
Students are not to open the bag while on the bus or start to eat the contents of it.
Thank you for all that you do and the support you give our students.
