The POBJFKHS robotics team, POBots, is headed to the FIRST Robotics Championships in Houston, Texas, to compete against teams from across the world. The tournament runs from April 19th to April 22nd.

Old Bethpage Elementary School Celebrates Read Aloud Day
Old Bethpage Elementary School hosted a Dr. Seuss Read Aloud Day as part of its Pick a Reading Partner month celebrated this March. Students greeted guests-including some of their own parents, Board of Education members and other special members of the community-who volunteered to visit and read to the students.

POB Hosts STEAM Night
Hundreds of families and children of all ages visited Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School on March 30th for STEAM Night. Through 28 hands-on, STEAM-related activities, children and their families had the opportunity to experience the delights of creativity, innovation, designing, making and problem solving.
