Title Seok Hoon (Alex) Lee Image

The Concord Review has just published a history research paper by Seok Hoon Lee on Dmitri Shostakovich in our Summer Issue of the journal.

Below is the communication POB received. Congratulations and well deserved.

The Concord Review was founded in March 1987 to recognize and publish the exemplary history essays by high school students in the English-speaking world. With the Summer Issue, more than 1,550 research papers (average 8,500 words, with endnotes and bibliography) have been published from authors in 47 U.S. states and 47 other countries.

We are certainly grateful for Seok Hoon's submission and wanted to reach out to you in order to highlight his accomplishment (we only publish about 6% of the essays we receive). TCR believes that the pursuit of academic excellence in history in secondary schools should be given the same attention as other academic subjects. By recognizing 11 students from around the world every issue we believe we are doing that.
