The Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School Math Olympiads Club achieved outstanding results during the 2026 competition season, with nearly 50% of participating students earning awards in the NOETIC, MOEMS or both national mathematics competitions. These accomplishments are especially impressive given the large number of schools and students competing from across the country.

The Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS) is a nationwide problem-solving competition designed to challenge students’ mathematical reasoning and critical-thinking skills.
