On January 29, the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Night. The night included a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly reopened Holocaust and Genocide Education Center at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School and included a presentation by Donna Rosenblum, Director of Education for Nassau County’s Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center.
Following the ceremony, members of the Board of Education, administration, teachers, PTA, and the community participated in workshops facilitated by POBJFKHS students.
