The Plainview-Old Bethpage community continued its tradition of honoring United States military personnel who died while serving the country during their annual commemorative ceremony on Memorial Day. During the ceremony, H.B. Mattlin Middle School teacher Mr. Rich Antoniello was recognized as the recipient of the Lenny and Carol Symons Community Service Honoree Award for his dedication to students and his commitment to civic education and community service.

“Rich is truly deserving of this honor,” said Mattlin Assistant Principal Ms. Christine Krowles. “His work with our students, combined with his service as a trustee on his own board of education, reflects his commitment to public service, civic engagement and inspiring those same values in future generations.”
The District would like to congratulate Mr. Antoniello on this incredible accomplishment.
