CTE Endorsement

CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE)

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) endorsement is a New York State Education Department seal indicating that you have completed coursework in a a state approved CTE pathway. This shows colleges and potential employers that you are better versed in career readiness/awareness and have developed workplace skills over other high school students.

CTE PROGRAM ENDORSEMENT

- (requires a minimum of 3.5 credits)
- Required Courses:
  - Career & Financial Management - 0.5 credit
  - College Early Childhood Education - 0.5 credit
- Required Experience:
  - Early Childhood Education: Career Internship Program - 1.0 credit (108 hours)
    OR
  - Early Childhood Education: Paid Work Experience - 1.0 credit (300 hours)
