Welcome to the Plainview-Old Bethpage Senior Citizen Club Webpage
This engaging and exciting program provides opportunities for social interaction, entertainment, education, and recreation for adventurous, fun-loving adults who are at least 55 years young. To attend all meetings and parties, you must reside in the Plainview-Old Bethpage community. Trips and outside holiday parties are open to all guests.
We meet every Friday, with doors opening at 9:00 AM. From 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, we offer a yoga/exercise class. The meeting begins at 10:00 AM and runs until 12:15 PM throughout the school year. Meetings include a modified Chair Yoga class (with options for those who want a greater challenge), entertainment, and discussions of upcoming events such as theme and holiday parties, as well as stimulating trips.
We also keep you informed about community and local events. The POB Senior Citizen Club is a great place to meet new people and socialize while enjoying exciting day trips and invigorating overnight getaways.
We are proud of our wonderful partnership with local high school students, who collaborate with us in many ways. These young adults continuously educate, entertain, and support us in various aspects of life.
Membership is $20 per year.
