On Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Plainview-Old Bethpage VFW Hall, three POBMS students were recognized for their winning entries in the VFW’s Patriot’s Pen Essay Competition. Congratulations to the following students:
Third Place – Samantha Spiers
Second Place – Jordan Schechter
First Place – Ian O’Neill
Ian’s essay also won third place in the county wide competition and third place across the VFW District. Congratulations again to our students!
